I’m a pharmacist with advanced degrees in pharmaceutical science and public administration. For over a decade, I’ve worked as a freelance medical writer helping healthcare teams turn clinical complexity into clear, actionable content.

I didn’t plan on becoming a medical writer. It started with an unexpected request in a hospital hallway and turned into a career I love.

At the time, I was working as a clinical pharmacist, making the long daily commute from Manhattan to a large hospital in New Jersey. Two years later, I stepped into the role of director of pharmacy, which pushed me to think more broadly about systems, communication, formulary decision-making, and patient care.

One especially cold morning, the chief of medicine and I spoke briefly about a recent issue with patient handoffs. By the end of the conversation, he asked me to prepare a grand rounds presentation on continuity of care and patient outcomes. That project gave me a glimpse into medical education, and I found myself genuinely drawn to the work.

After I moved to central New Jersey, a colleague invited me to help write a CME activity. That single project led to more, and before long, I was fully immersed in freelance work focused on continuing education and medical affairs.

Today, I develop clear, clinically grounded content that helps healthcare professionals stay informed, meet learning objectives, and support grant success.
